The Bean / Our Choice Blend
Costa Rica’s pure, mountain-grown Arabica beans are widely
known for natural sweetness and acidity which make some of the best
espresso. Further enhanced by carefully selecting and slowly roasting
only the choicest gourmet coffee beans for a full-bodied flavor
and rich consistency. All our beans originate from various regions
of Costa Rica, each blend has it's unique flavor and aroma.

The Grind
Artemis Cafe' grinds it's coffee beans with La Cimbali MD6 industrial
grade grinders... which are calibrated frequently taking into considerations
weather attributes and fluctuations in humidity. Perfectly calibrated
and optimized for providing the ultimate grind for attaing the perfect
cup of coffee. The grind is pivotal to exploit the full flavor of
the coffee bean and to allow optimal even-flow through the portafilters.
The
Espresso Machine
Espresso beverages are prepared at Artemis Cafe with a manual 2
Group La Cimbali M21, giving the professional Baristas full control
over the machine, allowing the Barista to perfect each beverage
(unlike automatic machines). At the present time, LaCimbali is the
world leader in the production of commercial coffee machines, exporting
its models to more than 100 different countries through a solid
distribution network. La cimbali = 88-years of experience in the
field of coffee machines.
The
Barista
Artemis Cafe Baristas have trained extensivly in house to attain
the proper skill level and "touch". At the end of the
day, the perfect cup of coffee primarily depends on the way the
Barista prepares the coffee. Variables such a milk temperature,
foam density and pouring are a science Artemis Baristas master.
With our unique recipes and extremly particular way of presenting
each cup of coffeeour Barsitas need to have over 50 types of coffees
down to perfection in terms of proportions and presentation. All
our Baristas are good in Math and Science too.
